(June 10, 2007)  Eyes on Eddy won an Allowance at Chruchill Downs on June 10 for her second victory in a row.  Owned by Stonestreet Racing, Eyes on Eddy is out of the Valid Appeal mare Oedy's Appeal.  She now has won over $500,000.  She has a yearling sister by Smarty Jones slated for the Keeneland September Sale and a 2007 brother by Songandaprayer       

               



(June 14, 2007)  Dryandrye (by Distorted Humor) who sold for $400,000 from Occidental Thoroughbreds 2005 yearling consignment, recently broke his maiden first time out by 9 lenghts at Delaware.  he was purchased by Mike Ryan and was owned by the 2005 Occidental Thoroughbreds Pinhooking Syndicate.

(June 30, 2007)  Swifty Victress wins the D.S. Shine Young Futurity.  Swifty Victress is out of the mare Caught On Fire who was purchased by Occidental Thoroughbreds for L.P. Cormier caring this filly.  This is also the first stakes winner by Freshman sire Macho Uno.

(June 1, 2007)  Dolly Talbo has had a beautiful filly by Roman Ruler.  Oedy's Appeal has a colt by Songandaprayer.  Siru has a filly by Came Home.  Queen of America has a Malibu Moon filly.  Cool Jazzed has a Forest Camp colt.



Occidental Thoroughbreds Sells $420,000 Yearling

(September 15, 2007)  Occidental Thoroughbreds sold the 2006 Grand Slam colt out of Dolly Talbo for $420,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale this past week.  The colt was purchased to race in Japan, where his brother is a stakes winner.



 (June 3, 2007)  Ferrari Pisa who is out of the Occidental Thoroughbreds mare Dolly Talbo is slated to make his next start in the Japan Dirt Derby on July 11.  Ferrari Pisa recently ran second in the JRA Unicorn Stakes.  His current dirt record is 4 starts with 3 wins and a second.  Dolly Talbo is in foal to Indian Charlie with a Roman Ruler filly by her side and a yearling colt by Grand Slam.



(June 16, 2007)  Magna graduate runs a closing second in the Stephen Foster G1.  Magna Graduate was bred by Occidental Thoroughbreds client Our Farm.  Occidental Thoroughbreds will be selling, as agent for Our Farm, the Honour and Glory colt out of Magna Graduate's sister Peacock Sally, in the Keeneland September Sale.

(June 15, 2007) Dixe Pistol, owned by Occidental Throoughbreds and White Diamond Stables, is training well with Sam Breaux at Evangeline Downs.  He is slated for a late summer start.  Dixie Pistol is a two year old gelding by High Yield out of the Occidental Thoroughbreds mare Cool Jazzed.  Cool Jazzed is in foal to Eurosilver.

Magna Graduate
(June 16, 2007)  Magna graduate runs a closing second in the Stephen Foster G1.  Magna Graduate was bred by Occidental Thoroughbreds client Our Farm.  Occidental Thoroughbreds will be selling, as agent for Our Farm, the Honour and Glory colt out of Magna Graduate's sister Peacock Sally, in the Keeneland September Sale.
Foaling Updates

Recent arrivals to Occidental Thoroughbreds for the 2007 breeding season include a Songandaprayer colt out of Oedy's Appeal and a Roman Ruler filly out of Dolly Talbo.  Queen of America has had a Malibu Moon filly, Siru a filly by Came Home, Unabashed Charm a filly by Yankee Gentleman, Her Temper a colt by Consolidator, Heartbeaker a colt by Malibu Moon, and Princessaconquervo a colt by Officer.  All of the foals are doing well

2007 Fasig July Sale
Occidental Thoroughbreds will have an excellent consignment for the 2007 Fasig Tipton July Sale.  Included in the consignment will be colts by Toccet and Olmadavor and fillies by Forest Camp, Petionville, and Scrimshaw.
